Hi
For one week I have had the pleasure of our new computer - HP Pavillion Media Center with Windows Vista. At first glance I'm actually quite pleased with Vista, but compared to our old computer (XP), there are some severe set-backs / problems - can anyone help?
1) Downloading from the Internet is extremely slow. I have a 5 M-bit connection and on the old one downloadning was in the passing lane with around 450 K-bit/sec. Right now I'm downloading a file from Rapidshare with 33 K-bit/sec. Surfing websites is also a pain in the ¤#%!#%#...!!
2) File-sharing using USB is also very slow - I have an external harddrive and the transfer-speed is around 20 MB/sec with USB 2.0!!??!!
Any ideas how to solve this?
3) I have connected my HP LaserJet1320 via USB. Windows finds the printer and reports, that the driver has been installed with success. But when I open the properies for the printers, no LaserJet is visible, and I cannot print anything...??
Any ideas how to solve this?
Regards
