Hallo,

Ich bin auf der suche nach Bilder von einer der Ainscough LTM1800. Ich hab schon eine menge Bilder gesehen von der Ainscough LTM1800 mit altes Fahrerhaus, aber ich such Bilder von der mit das neue Fahrerhaus (die hat Nummerschild: R73-NHG), auch Millenniumlifter genannt.

Auch suche ich noch Bilder von der Foden 4525 6x4 Hochdach der Ainscough bei der Kran als Auslegertransport Zugmachine im einsatz hat (die hat Nummerschild: SI000 TN).

Sure:

For a model project i'm looking for pictures of the Ainscough LTM1800-D "Millennium Lifter" (the one with new type cab that was later sold to Grohmann, not the one they still operate). It had licence plate: R73 NHG.

I'm also looking for info and pictures of the truck that pulled the boom in transport version: a Foden 4525 6x4 Highroof with 5 axle extendable Nooteboom trailer which was loaded with the 1800 boom. This Foden had reg. plate: SI000 TN or S1000 TN.

Both of these machines were shown in the Nooteboom book "Giants of the Road" volume 2 on page 92/93.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello jack,

Thanks for the tip, but these i allready knew, and are not the trucks and crane i'm looking for.
The LTM1800 shown on http://cranesandheavyhaulage.fotopic.net is the old one they still operate with old style cab etc, not the one with newer cab that later went to Grohmann (the Millennium Lifter).

The two Fodens shown on http://www.cranesetc.co.uk are close. The one shown on the first picture is of the exact same type and indeed helps me a bit, allthough it's not the exact truck i am searching for. Still, i am glad with the pic.
The one on the other pics have a different grille and are of a later type.

But your help is appreciated, thanks.

Hello Jack, no,

what Eric means is the LGD 1550/LTM 1800-D "Millenium Lifter"! That was the first Crane for Ainscough longer before Ainscough bought the ex Baldwins Cranes! The Millenium Lifter was a new one Machine with the new Cab. and with all configurations (LGD/LTM/LTMD and so on). Later was sold to Grohmann-Attollo and in silver over paints.

For me one of the most beautiful colors and signs/inscriptions for this Crane...
