Zitat: | Fabian postete Hello to all,
I would like to know what company in the UK owns the biggest cranes? And what happend with the big cranes of Baldwins ( LR 1800, CC4800, 2 x LTMG 1800, 4-5 x LTM 1500 and AK 912...) after their break down?
Thanks for your answers.
Greetings Fabian |
Hi
Ainscough have the biggest fleet with over 500 cranes. They bought the remains of Baldwins and sold off a lot of the fleet. The 2 LTM11000D's:1 was kept by Ainscough and repainted in Ainscough yellow, the other was sold to Sarens and still is in Baldwins white and blue! The LTM1500's were kept by Ainscough and are slowly being repainted when time permits. The AK912 was sold to ALE and moved back to UAE/Dubai where Al Jaber are based. The CC4800 and the Rosenkranz were sold to Sindorf trading in the Netherlands before Baldwins went bankrupt, and both are for sale now.I think Sarens bought the other crawlers (raupenkrans in Deutsch!).
As to the biggest cranes, according to Cranes and Access it is Ainscoughs LTM11000D,2nd place is McNallys Demag TC3300 and 3rd is JD Cranes Demag AC800.The whole list can be seen/downloaded from http://www.vertikal.net
