What are the differences between an LTM1800 and an LG1550, other than one has a telescopic boom and the other has a lattice boom?
Can the owner of an LG1550 buy a telescopic boom and then say that he owns an LTM1800?

He can - if he modifies the hydraulics of the upper carriage a little and buys the additional software package. (As you can also read in our FAQ.)
