Hello from Czech republic

After long time only "guesting" at this forum, I want to present my work.

LTM 1400 kibri in colors of Schwertrans Kern/Felbermayr

It will be Dio with the crane, support vehicle, preiser figures and WKA

the idea

not finished crane jib

the terrain

toi toi toilet

the ballast

not finished crane undercarriage

base for some changes, figures + support car

pictures are quite big...so if it´s problem I may them upload to the ImageShack :-I

Any comments welcome

Some update

Opel Vivaro is ready

Test of mast assembly

TOI TOI form plasti sheet and painted with Tamiya acrylics

The mast is from wood (my friends say "leg from table"), next sanded and smoothed with car primer, than painted with Tamiya acrylics and gloss varnish.
Next week I will have finished decals from czech company which prints decals for pure plastic models so the crane will be hopefully finished in next couple weeks.

And finally question to all: I have a plan to scratch the "ultimate one" liebher...11200 from plastic, I have a opportunity to cast it in resin..and....
My question is if anyone of you would want it?

Hi Samin your Dio and your Felbermayr LTM1400 and the yellow LTM1160 looks great, good job.
Also your other Modells like the planes and Helicopters,

To your question of the 11200 i habe interest of it, make quick as posible pictures of it

I hope next pictures will be with decals, I have also painted the figures - with acrylics vallejo and shaded with oil colors, so tomorow I will post pictures.

The LTM 11200 thing is only a mind stage because it will be a serious work and making only 1 crane for me and making model for cast is much harder in case of detailing vs cast limitations. (I have done some conversions in 1/72 tanks so I know it very well) so now it´s a only some kind of market recognition.

Hi Samin,
compliments for this work, very good job in weathering and painting, I hope we will see the crane on the diorama soon.
I'm still on searching a lot of detailshots of the real crane, I'm starting with it the next days, it will be in the same colors like Your's.
It looks sou used with the oilwash, verry verry good.

yes I m using oilwash...better to say enamel-wash because I use mainly Tamiya enamels for wash, this colors have better pigment, but generally all enamels are better (revell, humbroll) than common oils, and special top oils for artist are somehow expensive.

The only one site with this crane pictures is kranmodellbau.net.

so cranes are some kind of escape from scratching to normal modelling "out of the box"
