I think it is time for a couple more, I have just had to look at my previous postings in the hope I don't duplicate any more than I have done already. [img]http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5064/5748079416_dc6fbe6b1c_b.jpg{/img} Dieser Post wurde am 13.12.2012 um 19:54 Uhr von graham newell editiert. |

Hello again, Walter spent quite a lot of time down at the port of Liverpool, loading and unloading various equipment. Here are a few that I hope I have not posted before.

Just had a go at enhancing an old picture i have on my Flickr photostream, hope you like it, It shows the Lorain MC875 arriving at Walter Woolfendens yard. Walter had just purchased it and driven it himself from London to Liverpool.
Edit: Image fix Dieser Post wurde am 05.05.2013 um 12:38 Uhr von Sebastian Suchanek editiert. |

Zitat: | graham newell postete Here is another picture of the Lorain MC824, this side on photo clearly shows just how much front overhang these machines actually had. On top of that they are virtually as wide as a coles Colossus and left hand drive as well. Quite a difficult machine to drive on British roads at that time.

I came across a brochure of the Lorain 820 series not long ago, the chassis of these monsters where a solid casting,i can remember that we sold one in the Netherlands in late 1969. |
