Just had a go at enhancing an old picture i have on my Flickr photostream, hope you like it,
It shows the Lorain MC875 arriving at Walter Woolfendens yard. Walter had just purchased it and driven it himself from London to Liverpool.

Here is another picture of the Lorain MC824, this side on photo clearly shows just how much front overhang these machines actually had.
On top of that they are virtually as wide as a coles Colossus and left hand drive as well. Quite a difficult machine to drive on British roads at that time.

I came across a brochure of the Lorain 820 series not long ago, the chassis of these monsters where a solid casting,i can remember that we sold one in the Netherlands in late 1969.
