I started something new, again a Tropco this time the FTF MS4050

The cab only needs a matte laquer, but further the FTF MS4050 is finished ;

Hi Carol,

Great work!
The FTF is an interesting Truck and your model is interstring too. So much details...quite brilliant and the weatherings are also awesome as an example the oil on the tank...
What`s the meaning of TROPCO?

No that's an FTF. F-8.28 D 6x4, this particular one is an former Mammoet Stoof truck. Afther Mammoet it went to Sarens wich owned it only for a short period they sold it to a company in Saudi Arabia.

Today this particular FTF is back in Holland. It has been completely restored and looks like this today.

The Daf on that page you posted is a former militairy prototype know as a Daf FTT3500. Only one of these was build and supplied to the Dutch Army for testing. The Army concluded that the Daf wasn't good enough and bought the FTF MS4050 and the Daf FTT3500 prototype was sold to Sarens. I don't know if this truck still exists today...

No problem
Did some more digging tough.. The former Baldwins FTF wich is currently the Magnaload FTF is an former Military FTF ( serial 74218 ).

The first one that was delivered to the Army is still in original state today and is owned by the Historic Collection of the the Dutch Army :

All others were sold to various palces around the world, 5 of them turned up two years ago on a scrapyard in Italy
I don't know were the other 33 FTF's MS4050 are today and of they are still alive..

Tonight I started with a new trailer, its a Broshuis 100 tons trailer wich was introduced at the RAI in Amsterdam.

I suggest the 8x4. The 3+1ax seems to be somewhat niffty in front of an 8ax trailer.
A Broshuis is also something I hope to see someday from WSI.

Maybe, you never know what the modelling future brings
