Usually Demag indicates with this number an average load moment of the crane [m*t] of a standard configuration, i.e main boom + full counterweight, but no superlift (derrick).
As an example, 2800 could come from approx. 180 t @ 16 m.....but this is not exactly precise, it depends on the boom lenghts, on the hook blocks used, etc. But it gives you a good indication.
So - it's average load moment.
